Born and raised in the lethargic countryside of southern Germany, Luca’s urge for artistic expression has been present from a young age. Fuelled by his background in professional sports, his work always expresses recognisable rhythm and urgency that he seamlessly blends with in-depth explorations of unconventional soundscapes and visual arts. Non-bound to the commercial format, his short-film debut has gained a lot of reputation, winning multiple awards at renowned festivals, like Camerimage, YDA and the Cannes & New York Indie Shorts. Luca has graduated from the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and is based in Berlin.
